How is a democratic government able to ban words? Sounds like communism to me.

Can't use specific words? Change them, to words they still won't understand. Diversity = melange Fetus = embryo Transgender = sex-pivoted Vulnerable = exposed Evidence-based = factual Science-based = informed Entitlement = privelege

Love the idea, but one note - "fetus" has a specific medical meaning distinct from "embryo".

I'm a medical editor. This is terrifying. It goes beyond "we don't like these words." Some of these terms have very specific meanings, and there are no replacements. This is like telling an auto insurance adjuster they can't use the word 'airbag.'

I hope the CDC defies the ban for the sake of public safety.

And this relates to the topic of what the government is doing to the CDC how? Its wildly off topic to say the least!
