Music and entertainment are already on the verge of being totally independent of the current infrastructure and artists can go to markets directly. That’s making some pocketbooks rattle.

I really wish I believed that, but largely Google algorithms pick YouTube winners and losers. Facebook asks you to pay to be famous. Platforms shape the content, and we get in line. In so many ways, we're already living in the apocalyptic future everyone's trying to fight :-/
