We can't do that!! A smarter workforce would want higher salaries/hourly wages, more benefits & would ask too many questions. Besides, we have to have the poor among us to remind ourselves it could always be worse. [sarcasm]

Yes the argument that giving tax breaks to very rich will jumpstart our economy after stalling infrastructure asks is spurious at best. But they’ve used all the money for those tax cuts! None left for infrastructure much less ANYTHING to benefit regular folks

I am a 1%er against this tax bill. I am also a grad student. This tax bill is unfair. Why should my fellow grad students not be offered the same chance at a better life simply because they have a different last name than I do?!
