@KamalaHarris What about the Malaria prophylactic drug Mefloquine? My fellow vets and I were given this during our deployment to Afghanistan, and it has been shown to cause brain damage. Potentially tens of thousands of service members and vets with brain damage d/t this drug.

@KamalaHarris , and all that you do. My concern, as someone who lost his Dad to an opiate overdose, is could we not better use resources in getting addicts clean than having wars over which drug is best? I do appreciate you battling this epidemic, greatly! Thank you! -
I wish they would battle the opioids, not the cures. We need to have choices and Vivitrol is an excellent choice with great outcomes no different than the opioid treatments.

Vivitrol vrs suboxone vrs methadone show similar outcomes , but reasons for choosing one over the other depends on population ... examples .

12-step is not meant to be scientific but a spiritual process. I don't disagree with what you're saying as for some it definitely does not work. Whatever works for the individual addict go with it IMO as it's haaaarrrd to get and stay sober
