Minimum Wage shouldn't be a living wage. It's a stepping stone job. Establishes work ethic and promotes incentive to grow.
-
Take that money used to increase living wage and direct it toward career development. Skill = living wage.

Kamala...minimum wage isn't meant to support a family. We need education, training, technology, entrepreneurs. Min wage is for teenagers.
-
I once thought that, too, but there are many more minimum wage jobs than there are working teenagers.

A livable Fed min wage should: 1. Be indexed to local cost-of-living 2. Apply to ALL, regardless whether teen, disabled or tipped worker

$15/hr is a decent average, but some locales it could be lower, while others like NYC, Miami, Chicago or LA, it would need to be much higher
