How about a tax break for adult children taking care of an elderly parent. IRS will not allow a deduction even as dependant.

What about paternity leave? Including only maternity leave puts women on "mommy track." "Parent track" or "family-track" should be the norm.

Agreed. Until we expect + make it possible for men to devote as much time + energy as parents, we'll not see gender equity in the workforce.
