Something is terribly wrong when an organ donation is considered a preexisting condition. Giving another person the gift of life is amazing

My brother-in-law gave a kidney to his brother and saved his life. I wonder if some people will think twice about donating.

Good on ya for donating, but this is ableist. A person who can donate an organ is not more valuable than one who needs one.

I didn't read it as saying the donor was better. But that could be an ableist blind spot on my part. I apologize for that.

Donating organs at death is noble. The living who donate organs to a stranger stand at the pinnacle of selflessness and should be revered.

Who on earth are the 17% that want this bill? Even to a millionaire the lifetime limits could have a significant impact.
