Just don't keep making it harder for people who NEED these meds. People w/chronic pain having to get & deliver new rxs monthly is cruelty.
More than 4,600 Californians die each year from opioid overdoses, including heroin. We need to be doing more—not less—to address this issue.

Legalized marijuana has helped decrease overdose deaths and opioid dependence in Oregon.

Why don't more Drs prescribe or suggest marijuana to people with chronic pain? They are willing to give other pill killers.

Like every other problem, there are multiple complex causes, no easy pretty "sound bite" solution.

Access to prescription drugs, origin of pain, alternative pain treatments or changes to underlying cause of pain, etc.

Why are we singling out opioid users for treatment? Alcohol is still the #1 substance people become addicted to. More deaths bc of it too.
