Pres. Trump’s joint address to Congress lacked substance, affirmed his divisive agenda & provided little reassurance to those he’s targeted.

During the address, the president failed to provide comfort to DREAMers who live in fear of deportation.
He failed to assure the 5 million Californians who have insurance because of the Affordable Care Act.

And he failed to speak to refugees — many of whom who have been vetted for two years but may be denied entry to our country.

It’s clear after President Trump’s address that we must continue to fight for our core values and stand up for the progress we’ve made.
