Are school district standards the same in each district? I know in Los Angeles some schools do not even have English.

My mother was raised with Greek as the primary language in the home. She was in a Greek ghetto in Weirton WV.

She attained a university degree at WVU.

English in America is both Greek English & Latin English. There are many words that support Spanish. it's a friendly language!

In fact I am trying to work toward literacy standards that assure proper placement of Latin& Greek in English so it is strong.
