It’s about time we started to take police abuses seriously. This must be handled on a federal level to be taken seriously. It’s gone on too long and abuses are out of control. We shouldn’t have to live in fear!
That's a start, anyway. Can we ban tear gas? Can we expand the ban on no-knock warrants further? Can we eliminate bail? Can we end the school to prison pipeline? Can we end for-profit prisons? Can we demilitarize policing? Can we eliminate qualified immunity?

Can you also Mandate basic sociology, and Mental health training. MH training: teach officers basics how to identify/interact with people with autism, or other mental illness. Sociology: provide basic understanding of people, communities, and replace fear with empathy.
Most of this is already in place in many states with high rates of police violence. How about making those investigations fully public?
