On this day in 2012, the Supreme Court upheld the Affordable Care Act. It has been under attack ever since. Just this week Trump’s lawyers filed a brief trying to invalidate the entire Affordable Care Act and strip 20 million Americans of their health care—in a pandemic.

My insurance premiums went up during this pandemic. People are actually dropping their health insurance because they can't afford it. No one should be without (affordable) insurance. This is all a kick in the balls.

The cynicism of Republicans re healthcare and the ACA is beyond the pale, even for them. They held the whole Congress a few yrs ago but failed to pass anything. Now they still want us to believe they have a great new plan just around the corner!

My premiums went TOO high when this was enacted- so I don't like that about ACA. I do like Trump making hospital costs transparent. We now need to sell insurance across state lines

Our premiums also doubled right after the ACA was enacted. I’m glad for those it helped, but there has to be a better solution that doesn’t hurt as many as it helps. We can barely afford our premiums & copays now.
