I don’t even know what “gay/trans panic” even means, but it definitely sounds like some BS.
The “gay/trans panic” defense has been used to justify horrific acts of violence against the LGBTQ+ community. As San Francisco’s DA and California’s AG, I helped make ours the first state to ban it. This #PrideMonth, let’s commit to banning this reprehensible defense nationwide.
