Please don't forget Puerto Rico, and the other territories. Citizens deserve full representation everywhere; it's the responsibility of the nation that created them.
Washington, D.C. has 700,000+ residents—more than some states—but they are denied full representation in Congress. It’s time to grant D.C. statehood.

The sole reason Democrats are making the sudden push for statehood is to get 2 permanent Democrat Senators. Afterwards, they will most likely push for a 52nd state, Puerto Rico, giving 2 more permanent Democrat Senators. 4 Senators will mean the Senate is forever Democrat run.

I'm a foreigner so I might miss some intricate constitutional finesse but why shouldn't every citizen, including those in the DC and Puerto Rico, have equal representation in the senate?
