according to my father, a former police officer, the method used to restrain and kill George Floyd was not taught to him in the police academy he attended in the early 1980s, but he *did* learn it when he was training at Fort Bragg while he was in the military

i wonder what percentage of police officers left the military and went straight into the police departments around the country because it was the easiest transition to make (note: that's NOT an excuse)
