Today is also the anniversary of the Loving decision, which enabled my brother to marry my sister-in-law and my son his wife because it struck down the obscene law against interracial marriage. Good days to remember!

The Loving decision was one of the factors that the Supreme Court used to say same-sex marriages was a Civil Right. Because of the Loving decision, they declared it was already a settled law.
