Police must be personally responsible in civil actions, like everybody else, for their bad acts. Damages should not be paid by the community that they victimized. Damages should be paid from the cops' insurance, savings, pension or home.

Kamala, my friend, nothing is going to make any difference until we start putting criminal police through the justice system under the same terms as any other citizen. You get a police state when police are above the law.

Here's an idea; just a thought. Norway has one of the lowest crime rates in the world, their police have to go through at least four years of schooling including some psychology training for de-escalation. MABYE, just a thought; we take the same approach. 1/2
