It is obscene, that there are ANY hungry children in America! I worked as a “Lunch lady” in a high school for 13 years, I loved those kids. Most heartbreaking time was when kids would thank me, and tell me it would be their only meal that day. I worried all weekend about them.

I regularly donate to our local food bank. Food banks can make dollars go a long way, so donating actual cash can be helpful. But anything is appreciated. I encourage everyone to call their local food banks, or churches that do food drives.
