I agree. However — one of the things we should likewise be looking at is collection companies and payday loan companies. They are repossessing cars, calling relentlessly, and harassing people who just lost their jobs. Our receptionists' boyfriend is nearly suicidal over this.

Wipe out ALL consumer and student debt at once. Buy it back or similar with a QE type of move if necessary. Let the banks and CC's scream all they want. Too many of them ripped off people so let them take the haircut.
