Such empathy and care, is what this country needs. Especially in this moment we find ourselves in. 
If you’re able, take a moment this weekend to call a friend you haven’t talked to in a while. Send a message to your grandparents. At times like these we need to make sure we’re social distancing, but not emotional distancing.

During this social distancing period, I have also used the time for personal development and a part of that effort is to strengthen my relationship with friends and family by showing them that I do care about them. I am spending more time with my kids and my wife. This is good.

My grandfather died on Monday from Covid-19, he was a WWII Navy Vet, he lied about his age and joined at 17. He loved his country. He died alone in his nursing home, this virus killed him in 4 days. He deserved better. Call your loved ones
