This should be clarified!! the Marketplace IS open for people who have lost their coverage because of loss of a job or other reasons. It creates a "Special Enrollment Period" and they can enroll in a plan. YOU ARE CAUSING MORE DAMAGE BY IMPLYING THAT THEY CAN'T GET COVERAGE!!!

If only someone hadn’t changed healthcare in this country and caused insurance companies to to create enrollment periods in the first place...
-
U.S. insurance companies have always had enrollment periods. Decades ago when I worked outside the home, whatever co. I worked for had an enrollment period once a year. Any changes/additions were done at the time only.

I am one of those Americans. Still working but no insurance. I make too much money (that's a joke) to qualify for Medicaid. If I get sick, I'm screwed!

Sad. Before Obamacare it was affordable. Mine went from $408 to $2300 as a result of Obamacare. And back then enrollment was open 24x7.
