We have a local phone co in our county which provides high speed internet, about $100/month. We are fortunate, if you can afford it. Most rural areas rely on satellite internet as the only choice at $50+/mo for 5 GIGS

My brother is working from home and has to use his cell phone as a hot spot because there’s no cabling.

Including on the Native Reservations. Currently, the Navajo Nation is getting hit hard with the virus. A very pool tribe. They don't have the Internet, TV, or Nat'l Newspapers.
