It's not immoral, it's fair. It's how my grandparents came here. They never took a dime in fed money. They worked their butts off and earned the privilege to become American citizens in 5 years.

Since 1996, there’s a law that prohibits most non-citizens from receiving public assistance but I’m not aware of any law that would prohibit people from coming in if they were to become a public charge. How does anyone know who could become one?

What’s more immoral is the millions of Americans Citizens that of course includes our Vets that simply getting ignored & some even homeless may I add more in your state! Americans includes all races & law abiding immigrants that love being part of this great country!

I married a foreigner in 84. I had to sign that he would never be on public assistance. This isn’t new.

Good. That’s how it was in the early 20th century’s as people came over and went through Ellis island. The history of “who we are” is distorted by the left. No country should allow in people who can’t provide for themselves.
