Brilliant: signed a bill to keep something from happening that has not happened in 78 years nor has been a threat to happen again. I am so glad you are working on crap that does not currently impact us. Meanwhile we have a out of control homeless problem.
Today in 1942, FDR signed the executive order that led to the internment of approximately 120,000 people of Japanese ancestry. We can’t erase this shameful part of our nation’s history—but I co-sponsored a bill last year to prevent atrocities like this from ever happening again.
