Too many Americans are working 2-3 jobs to pay the bills & put food on the table. An economy that only works for those at the top is an economy that is broken.
To truly address income inequality, we must commit to good-paying jobs, affordable childcare & paid family leave. #SOTU

My friend, who is single with no children just asked me tonight if he could put me down as a reference for his third job! His 1st is as a paramedic, his 2nd is working in an ER and the 3rd would be a second paramedic position. He needs the third to try to buy & not rent anymore.

Is this not crazy?! He lives in the Midwest, not Palo Alto or NYC. How do we pay some of the most vital people in our society the lowest wages?
