There won’t be a middle class within the next 2 generations if this isn’t reversed.
Today marks 10 years since the Citizens United ruling gave corporations and the top 1% the ability to funnel unlimited amounts of money into our elections. My colleagues and I introduced a constitutional amendment last year to overturn this horrendous decision.

I don’t think it’ll take that long at the rate GOP is going. They’re using healthcare (or rather lack thereof/cost) to finish off what’s left of it. Each generation has less and less to “pass on”. Cost of education has wasted millennials who can’t even afford to buy homes.

And look at the consequences America! The republicans will do anything to avoid defeat in the Senate in Nov. America needs the Dems to take the Senate, so the Dem majority can legislate Citizens United into oblivion. The CU decision has been absolute poison to this republic.

I don't know legal terminologies. But I sure hope "overturn" is legislative language for "skull-fk" And as long as you're writing Constitutional amendments, how about explicitly enumerating an [uninfringeable] right to vote...
