We’re facing a mental health crisis. Too many Americans lack access to the care they need, and millions live in an area with a shortage of mental health professionals. That’s why I’ve introduced a bill that utilizes telemedicine to expand access to mental health services.

Can I possibly talk to someone involved with your health policy platform? I’m an anesthesiologist with a keen interest in addressing racial/gender health care disparities. I see what happens at floor level daily. I know how we can finally address it and not just talk around it.

If anyone knows one thing about telemedicine, it’s the poorly convinced. If someone is paying upwards $100 or more for a doctors visit! They should see a physical doctor!

But for those who live far away from a clinic, or who lack the means or mobility to see a dr in-person, telemedicine means they can get care vs not at all.
