An experienced farm worker was paid equivalent to a factory worker because of the skill and expertise involved. Let's bring that back. Instead of treating Hispanic farm workers as low level uneducated unskilled workers, we should be promoting their skills.

A farm worker is just as skilled as the UAW line worker that the GOP and Trump supports but is far more important to the economy. It's time we started treated them like they are.

And weve also started a campaign to tell non college educated folks they shouldn't send their kids to college..funny how you never hear that aimed at rich kids. This is pandering...

There are a certain number of jobs available that require a given level of education. Going to college is great for those with the interest and ability. But if 90% of all people had masters degrees, most of them couldn't get jobs. We have to provide a living wage for all workers.

One million times yes, here. And I agree as a college professor. I teach so many talented and intelligent people who would be happier in the trades, but they feel like the American Dream demands white collars.

We used to have vocational high schools that taught all of that. Why did they disappear?
