Too many of our nation’s servicemembers are away from their families this Thanksgiving. California’s firefighters are out there battling blazes instead of spending time with loved ones. Thinking of them today and every day and could not be more grateful for their sacrifice.

California uses prisoners to fight wildfires as cheap labor, & they get paid as little as $1 per hour to risk their lives. These prisoners are barred from working in civilian fire departments after they are released due to their criminal records, but you know all about that.
