i kept my very demanding, very long days and a 1.5-2 hr commute each way job and camped out in a parents house to take care of them for over 10 yrs. They died. Now, I have incurable stage 4 cancer and I do wonder if that stress triggered it. No family history of cancer.

Although i would have LOVED to stay home for 6 months for each of my children... If a company can make it 6 months without you, they probably don’t need you.

Fact! As a single mom of 3, I walked away from a career that I love, to provide for my kids. That said, in order to make enough money to support them, my daily commute is an hour & a half ea way. There needs to be reform around child support laws and child care law.
