Yesterday, a 16-year-old girl and 14-year-old boy didn’t get to return home to their families. These horrific tragedies are preventable. No child should ever have to fear that they or their classmates could be next.

I now have to guide my child, a direct witness to this tragedy. How do I do that? Mental healthcare is not available to all and it should be standard. It should be part or in tandem with a comprehensive gun regulation bill.

It is really bad when children die like that yes. But even as an adult. I go to a sports bar every Sunday during NFL season, and even I fear someone coming in and shooting the place up. Nobody should have to fear firearm violence in public places.
