We had a shooting club in my high school, and kids would take rifles onto the bus as being part of the club. What we need to look at is why are our gun laws getting stricter, yet these shootings happening more frequently. The guns haven't changed, we have.

I was in rifle club, club shooting was actually done AT SCHOOL, bought my 22 ammo at the corner gas station … no ID required. I was 12 yrs. old. I went to school in the 50's. We recited the Pledge of Allegiance every morning.. Prayer was allowed in schools.

Most of my progressive Liberal friends are not going to like this.
#guncontrol is not the issue. Yes, weapons of war should not be on the streets. But there are larger issues causing all this havoc and until we address the real cause of this violence, it will only continue. -
You're correct. There are a number of things at play here, and Gun Control won't solve all of them...but it is a very good first step. The easiest way to reduce casualties like this is to make it harder to get ahold of weapons meant to create body counts.

I lost a friend at Virginia Tech sitting at her desk in a classroom=these are real people, not campaign tools. I suppose this is how you ignore the carnage and pain these shootings cause. Sham on you. Well done Kamala, keep fighting for these innocent school kidspic.twitter.com/ZZ7h3Ed4DR

Every school should have at least 2-3 armed guards and metal detectors. Former military and retired cops would jump at this. After 9/11 you made the TSA, make something that protects schools because gun laws and confiscation WILL NOT WORK. WAKE UP ALREADY!

Sorry Johnny this makes to much sense. More laws on law abiding citizens is definitely the way to go.
