That's a laughable solution.

It’s literally already a popular solution in many school districts. After school activities until parents can pick them up.

As a former Before and Afterschool Director, former teacher, former Dean of students, former counselor, And someone who did their senior thesis as a sociologyist on this topic, this policy will begin to build a bridge to a stronger school, community and household. Thank you KH!

I’ve seen so many against this. I don’t understand. Kids are already AT the school building. It’s SAFER for kids to stay there. It should be the center of the community.

As a teacher I want to know if you are going to propose salaries commensurate with the new hours & responsibilities this entails. We already donate way too hours of our personal time for this to add to our pile.

Teacher's don't necessarily have to facilitate afterschool care. Geez...The funding would be there to hire help. This is about children having a safe space (for the parents that need help bridging the gap between the time school is out and the time they get home).
