The high rate of black infant and maternal mortality exists independent of socioeconomic differences & access to healthcare - it is directly correlated to systemic racism & implicit bias, which Kamala Harris’s plan addresses.

Read Serena Williams' story. She has it all and still almost died. Beyonce had issues also. If it happens to them what will happen to many Black women without the means during pregnancy.
