Keep in mind money “for the homeless” goes mostly to various staff that are hired to “help” the homeless. Not nearly enough actually reaching and improving homeless folks’ lives. Needs investigation!

Las Vegas might want to check what happened in a Reno case in the late 90s. A judge ruled sleeping is an unavoidable act of nature and cannot be criminal. Terri Keyser-Cooper was the civil rights attorney who won the case.

I'm thankful to Secretary
@JulianCastro for publishing the first comprehensive plan to end homelessness written with impacted people at the table and for leading the field again on opposing this ordinance! Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

This appears to be a good idea on paper but some homeless people aren’t really homeless so how can anyone figure out who really is homeless and who is faking it to get free handouts? I think it’s a good idea but I don’t see how it can apply in reality.

Explain please. "Some homeless are not homeless"?

Yes...just in "parts of the city" would it become illegal for homeless to camp and sleep. Gee, I wonder what parts of Vegas that will be?
