So many people are responding to this thinking that the women will die in childbirth. They won’t. Abortion bans don’t get rid of abortions, they just end safe abortions. Women will die from unsafe procedures while pursuing agency over their body which they are being denied.
Republican legislators in South Carolina are stripping exceptions to rape and incest from an already draconian abortion ban. If this becomes law, women will die. Let’s be clear on that.https://www.thestate.com/news/politics-government/article236516018.html …

Nobody should ever be forced to carry a fetus to term which they don’t want. No man is entitled to the right to force his children upon a woman. If the conception is illegal or traumatic, that is even more reason that a person might not want to have a kid. They shouldn’t have to.

Having been raised in SC I know several teens and women who have gotten abortions over the years. It was a difficult they had to make. It is a decision that should NOT be taken away.
