Where exactly is it in the Constitution that that is the Federal Government's responsibility? Good grief.

Hey Sam Ward, if men bled every month, tampons and pads would be available on every street corner, and if men got pregnant, abortion would be free and readily available.

Honestly. This is an easy fix. We give kids access to technology, paper, pencils etc. so they can be successful learners. If girls need access to period supplies to learn, then let’s make it happen. My classroom bathroom has pads under the sink. This is a no brainer!

But, we DONT give kids access to those. Schools don’t provide pencils, glue sticks, or dry erase makers to teachers. This is the furthest thing from an easy fix, it’s complex, and usually ends up with teachers purchasing period supplies for their female students. Like always.

do you mean i in 4 of all teens, or 1 in 4 girls? One in 4 teens would mean about half of all girls. Avoiding female language can get confusing!
-
Confusing for you maybe. The rest of us knew what she said.

1 in 4 teens, so 1 in 2 girls?

Yeah that was my first thought too, but the most recent number I found was actually 1 in 5 girls. https://www.marketwatch.com/press-release/nearly-1-in-5-american-girls-have-missed-school-due-to-lack-of-period-protection1-always-joins-forces-with-gina-rodriguez-feeding-america-to-help-endperiodpoverty-and-keep-girls-in-school-2018-08-07 …
