You lost my consideration tonight... and a whole bunch of my friends. Not even a nod to the fact that the "other victims" of this are millions of patients now being denied treatment by doctors. Driven to illegal methods or suicide due to lack of medical care.
Am I in favor of sending pharmaceutical executives to jail for flooding communities with opioids?

Exactly! I have ADPKD,no treatment, no cure. I have cysts all around & inside both kidneys. As they have pushed my ribcage out 2" on both sides, plus being 15 x 10 x 9 inches ea. Please tell me how much that does not hurt!!

And what do you tell me when pain meds aka opioids-- are the ONLY thing that relieves my pain? Am I left to suffer? I feel like I'm being treated as a criminal.

There’s a big difference is safely prescribing and taking as directed to overly prescribing and abusing. I too have chronic pain so I feel ya.

The difference between an addict and a chronic pain patient is that the addict takes as much as he can to get high. The pain patient takes as little as possible that still allows him to function. Stop lumping us in with heroin addicts.

I agree with you, but, why they don't punished the real people that put all those controlled medicine in the black marked, we really need this medicine, please, can you walk a mile in our shoes and help us?
