Absolutely! Private prisons have no incentive to rehabilitate, or reduce prison population. They profit on denying parole, and overcrowding.

Privatizing prisons was another screwed-up Congressional invention. Congress uses the taxpayer as a piggy bank to enrich their friends. If for some reason you don't make president, I hope you are the Attorney General and go after corruption with a vengeance.
