Public educators joining a union means it will me 10x harder to get rid of the bad ones! Educators getting more pay and benefits should fall to the electorate, not union bosses who only want to line their pockets!

My state (even before teacher’s unions were stripped of almost all rights) does not have tenure. No union can and will fight for a teacher who is inept. We have had teachers fired on the spot-not even allowed to finish the day. Our pay is lower today than it was in 1997.

Could we give teachers a $28,000,000,000 check like Trump’s giving to the farming industry..?
Imagine what $28B would do for education. -
I wouldn’t need to Ask strangers to Buy my students $18 in copy paper! Or $7 book tape.

You gotta be kidding! We already spend a quarter million dollars a year per classroom on failed government schools. Teacher unions work against students and taxpayers.

There should not be any public unions, ever. They're a travesty. In negotiations between public unions and politicians, there is NOBODY at the table representing the taxpayers' rights and interests, even though it's THEIR money being negotiated over.

Sure there is- the school board.

Teacher Unions have never stood for student needs.

Not enough parents have either. We need a complete reform of the education system, something like a mass restructuring and privatization with a few specific regulations should work much better than what we have.
