The only "fair" price of a good or service is one voluntarily agreed to by the buyer and seller. Gov't intervention into the healthcare industry does nothing but destroy the ability to reach a fair price.
Pharmaceutical companies have long been in the business of prioritizing profit over public health. No one should be up at 3AM worrying how they'll pay for their prescription drugs. That will change when I’m president. These drug companies must set fair prices—or pay the price.

How do you determine "fair price"? Drug co's must recover R&D, failed drugs. failed studies and provide a reasonable profit for shareholders taking above average risk since most drugs never get approved yet still cost billions. Just asking. How do you set prices?

How much do the top ten execs at each of the major pharma companies make, combined? Yes, r&d and regular manufacturing cost a lot, but the prices on insulin and epipens is just price gouging. Maybe they could reduce their own costs by starting at the top.
