In 99% of the counties in the United States, a full-time worker earning the minimum wage cannot afford the market rate for a one-bedroom apartment. It’s simply unacceptable. My Rent Relief plan would ease that burden and make housing affordable.

Please get a group of varied economists to review this plan. It may very well just drive up housing costs. We don't need national rent control.

The words * rent control* freak people out. We are going through this in my area. Even people who need affordable housing are rejecting *rent control* language in any law or ordinance.
