As a computer programmer, I whole heartedly agree. Using a computer to tabulate votes is like sending paper ballots to a shredder and being told to just trust the counting process.

The same hand -marked paper ballots that have been misplaced or found in trunks/vans in Florida?

Yes, paper ballots don't prevent sections form being stolen & the excessive emphasis on them on the left is misplaced. Voter suppression is where our focus should be.
