Dear @KamalaHarris: I know you’ve split off of Sen. Sanders’ #MedicareForAll bill to your own version, but do you also still support @ewarre’s excellent #ACA2.0 bill, #CHIPA?
I strongly support it as a short-term solution until a universal coverage bill is passed & implemented.
I met Matt yesterday who learned in March his rent would increase by ~70%, meaning less money for groceries & medical expenses. When I moved in to this community, the lot rent after buying my home was $350, water, sewer and trash not included. Now it's $521, W,S,T, included. I make $750.00 with SS. How am I going to be able to live here while they continually raise our rent? Southernaire in Mt. Dora, FL

Shouldn't there be some protection for renters (laws) that rent is not allowed to be increased by that huge amount?

They want everyone out and they will re-structure with prefab homes. I've seen this before. The resulting upgrade increases the property value. They will sell to other seniors who are selling their homes as they use up their remaining money b/c Social Security is not enough.
