Under my Medicare for All plan:
You can go to the doctor and know you’re covered
No one can be denied care for a pre-existing condition
Wall Street, corporations and the top 1% will bear the brunt of the cost
You can change jobs and your health coverage goes with you

Employer-sponsored health care is part of an employee’s compensation package. When that goes away, will employers be required to provide increased salary or other benefits to make up for the lost compensation associated with loss of employer-sponsored health insurance?
-
If not, employers are getting a gift by not having to pay for part (up to 75%) of an employee’s health insurance premiums and the employee is left under-compensated from their employer.
