^ I was thinking the same. Punishing poor parents for truancy, refusing to release the innocent man, I mean, doing virtue signaling election time means nothing.

Attorneys General don't actually arrest people, that would be the police. A.G.'s and D.S.'s are actually required to prosecute those who have been charged with crimes whether they agree with the law or not

What you need to reform is the whole system. If anyone commits a crime, money should not buy them out. I’m tired of seen abusers and molesters and rapist get out after three months of jail because it harms their studies, their families.... etc etc. Punish those that need to be.

Does time in jail before trial count towards someone's sentence? If so, do people reach a point where it's more efficient to plead guilty and walk out? Even if truly innocent?
