In Ventura I spend 68% of my monthly income on rent. Its a one bedroom (no laundry, a/c or heat) and don’t live in the lap of luxury or anything. My rent will be going up $170 a month, making rent on a 1-bdrm $1903. This is the AVERAGE for a one bedroom. It’s awful.
