The last time the federal government got into the everyone needs a home it was a disaster

But the time before that, FHA allowed white people to buy homes at less then their rent. Only white people. They used that wealth to send kids to college to generate more wealth and buy homes. It's an indicator of what is wrong. Not necessarily a goal, but you knew that.
