As the partner and caregiver to a disabled american, I couldn't agree more. Enforcement of ADA regulations, functional accessibility, and lower costs for adaptive technology would allow differently abled persons more access to their voring rights

Very important issue. Thank you Kamala Harris for your sensitivity to this.

Transportation, accommodations, assistance; these things are needed to ensure that disabled citizens are not disenfranchised. Not just registration.

My boy voted for the first time in 2018. Because I am an elections judge, I was able to guide him through the process ahead of time, talk to him about his options (having an assistant with him, using the Ballot Marking Device), and help him have success.

That sounds great! I would like to know what your thoughts & plans are to be sure our Disabled kids get the proper Services they need to succeed to be able to vote as adults: understand the process, get the education they deserve, not end up incarcerated/homeless, etc.

I agree w you 100%. I’m an RN w special needs clt and the rusty gears take forever to turn! But in my humble opinion, Harris is more concerned about Votes to her agendas rather than disabled.
