Thank you! They have screwed over a lot of public service workers. I made my 120 consecutive payments and they still wouldn’t approve loan forgiveness on my education loan. Thank you for helping us to fight this battle!

The same thing happened to me. They said I had the wrong loan type. Ten years ago I was told it was the right loan. Now I'm out of luck.

Having an educated workforce is an investment in our country. Why not make federal student loans interest-free? I have a master's degree and had 0 parental contribution; my loan balance keeps going up. It will never be repaid, tho I never miss a payment.
